These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Lumafit mobile application (the “App”), developed and provided by Mikk Salu (“we,” “us,” the “Developer”).
By installing and using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Lumafit is a free mobile application for tracking physical activity. You log your workouts manually; the App keeps your activity, streaks and goals on your device, estimates calories, shows active minutes against a daily goal, can tag where a workout happened, and can show nearby gyms and parks on a map.
The App is provided “as is” and may be changed, expanded, or limited at the Developer’s discretion.
By using the App, you confirm that:
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and Apple’s Media Services Terms and Conditions.
You may not:
You enter your workout details yourself, and the App derives metrics such as estimated calories, distance totals, active minutes and streaks from what you enter. Estimated calories and other calculated values are approximations and depend on the information you provide. Where you use location features, accuracy depends on your device, GPS signal quality, and external conditions.
The App is not a medical device and does not replace professional medical advice. Activity, distance, calorie and other metrics are provided for informational purposes only. Consult a qualified professional before starting any exercise program, especially if you have any health concerns.
By installing the App and granting permission, you agree to receive activity reminder notifications. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings or within the App.
As of the publication of these Terms, the App is entirely free and does not include any in-app purchases or subscriptions. Should this change in the future, updated terms will be added to this document and communicated to users in advance.
All content within the App — including its design, logos, text, graphics, and source code — is the property of the Developer and is protected by intellectual property laws. Map data shown in the App is provided by OpenStreetMap and its contributors under their own licenses. Using the App does not grant you any ownership rights to these materials.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, or freedom from errors.
We do not guarantee that: the App will operate without interruptions or errors; estimated or location-based data will be perfectly accurate; or the App will meet all of your expectations.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App, including but not limited to injuries sustained during physical activity based on data from the App.
You use the App and rely on its data at your own risk.
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device, which also removes its on-device data. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App for any user who violates these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this document.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
